Welcome to the 12th annual
World of Pinot Noir Technical Symposium. What began as a
Winemaker-only conference in 2001 now welcomes Viticulturists
as we taste barrel samples from diverse growing regions. We
continue with the educational theme - "Bring something
that will teach something."
This is a blind tasting of 2011 Pinot Noir barrel samples.
All Technical
Symposium events will be held at The Hacienda in Shell
Beach apart from the Wednesday dinner.
The Hacienda is on a private street
about 10 minutes south of The Cliffs Resort. Parking
is extremely limited. Please take transportation
provided from The Cliffs (schedule below).
What wines should you bring (per winery - not per person)
Important: Please bring barrel samples, other requested
wines, and anything else you may need during the day
with you to The Hacienda.
