The World of Pinot Noir was established in 2001 by a small, but dedicated group of winemakers from California’s Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties’ preeminent wine regions.

Yes, we have two and a half days of seminars, lunches, wine tasting and dinners. It’s a grand celebration of Pinot Noir. Find the full schedule of events here.
Save some paper! We scan the tickets from your phone or look up your order by name for check-in. If you happen to lose your ticket, mobile check-in will save the day. But don’t forget your identification. We want to verify that it’s you!
No, all ticket sales are final. If you have any questions regarding a refund or your tickets, please contact our ticket provider, NightOut for their policies.
Yes, all tickets are transferable. As long as the new ticket holder has the mobile ticket or knows the name of the person who purchased the ticket, we can easily check them in.

California casual during the days and evenings. The sun usually shines bright on the event, but at night temperatures can often drop by 20 degrees. Do as the locals do: bring layers! Dinner guests have an opportunity to elevate their experience and dress more formal. Ex: cocktail attire.
Santa Barbara’s weather in March is typically partly cloudy and high of 65°F. In the morning, the coastal fog rolls in then dissipates by the afternoon, so we suggest wearing layers. In the event there is rain, all outdoor events will be moved indoors.
All World of Pinot Noir events are for attendees 21 years and older. Some hotel properties do provide babysitting services if you are traveling with small children.
Some of the hotels do allow pets - please check with them directly. Due to Health Department restrictions, dogs are not allowed at any World of Pinot Noir events.
Yes, tickets can be purchased online or at our onsite concierge desk, up until that event begins. However, many of our events sell out. We recommend purchasing in advance to guarantee availability.

Because our World of Pinot Noir staff want you checked-in and seated before the event begins, we suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before the start time.
Yes! During Friday and Saturday’s Grand Tastings, we will have a Collector’s Auction filled with large format bottles and special packages from our participating wineries. Wine purchased at the Collector’s Auction can be picked up or shipped to your home.
In keeping with our mission, a portion of the proceeds from our two Charity Silent Auctions will be donated to non-profit institutions and/or scholarships that help further educate and enlighten the world of the storied Pinot Noir grape.
