With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, Woody has worked with some of the best restaurants and hotels in the country, including Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, and The Grand Del Mar. During his tenure, many of the restaurants were awarded accolades from the Michelin Guide, Forbes, and the James Beard Foundation.
Woody, a California native, is a culinary & beverage studies graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, accredited through The Court of Master Sommeliers, Society of Wine Educators, The Cornell School of Hotel Administration. Woody also served as an Operations Specialist in the United States Navy. He currently owns & operates WvH Hospitality, which has represented successful restaurants and culinary events across the United States.
At Small Barn, Woody is responsible for operations & management strategy, IT, accounting, hospitality tech integration, culinary support, wine list consultation, and food & beverage consulting.
