Santa Barbara County Vintners Association

Santa Barbara Wine Country is one of the world's most stunningly beautiful wine regions. Discover the urban wineries of Santa Barbara, Solvang, Buellton, Los Olivos and Lompoc. Venture out to the rural vineyards of the Santa Maria and Santa Ynez Valleys. Taste the incredible array of wines, from Chardonnay to Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah and nearly 50 other varieties. Nine wine routes, one spectacular experience. We've got it all!

Dining

Dining in the area is always a rewarding experience. First, there’s the variety. Choose everything from local fare to ethnic flavors. Park yourself at an open-air market, or settle in for a seaside view. Then there’s the vibe. Goleta and Santa Barbara restaurants are fun, welcoming and — much like the destination’s many experiences — always full of flavor.

Explore more restaurants and activities in Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, Carpinteria and East Beach.

Craft Breweries

While we’re proud of the wine you’ll find here, the Central Coast is also a hub of the growing craft beer industry – one that has been noted by brewers all over the country. Captain Fatty’s Craft Brewery invites parents to pony up while kids relax in a family-friendly atmosphere. Draughtsmen Alesworks is newest to the scene and M. Special Brewing Company features live music, food trucks, games and numerous beer styles. If you favor suds, you’ll want to add these establishments to your World of Pinot Noir weekend to do list.

Beaches and Parks

What do breaking waves, boundless bays, beautiful parks and butterflies have in common? They all call Santa Barbara County home. Here’s the thing: the area’s green and blue spaces aren’t typical; they’re astonishing in how they look, what you can do here and what they have to offer. Play a round of disc golf, enjoy some boogie boarding or surfing at Campus Point, watch the tide roll in and visit the Monarch Butterfly preserve — all in one afternoon.

Need to buy or rent gear? Check out Surf Country.

Rest and Relaxation

From a quiet morning walk in the sand to an evening spent sipping wine on the patio, serenity is part of Santa Barbara County life. Take your tranquility to the next level with a visit to one of these local spas, all of which are sure to nurture your inner harmony.

Solvang

Walk through charming downtown Solvang and sample local wines from more than 20 downtown tasting rooms. It's easy to do a self-guided tasting tour here and in between sips you can visit their local boutiques, restaurants and famous Danish bakeries.

Lompoc Wine Trail, Wine Ghetto

There are no vast estates with rolling hills here, nor opulent tasting rooms with soaring ceilings. What 19 tasting rooms in this bustling industrial park have in abundance is world-class wine created by people with a passion for their craft.

Explore Goleta

Our partners at Go Goleta offer resources to discover an array of experiences within the area during your time here. If you would like to explore Goleta during your stay, check out their website for more advice on places to visit.
